Pickup is hopefully going to be finished within this month. The project I am doing has been delayed due to that beast of a typhoon, but at least nothing's been spoiled and I'm thankful for that.

Well actually I am halfway in finishing already, and I just had to complete planning the fight scene, and after that it'll be faster. I am shooting on finishing a rough version this week since my friend wants to read it. And damn, the ending is creepy *laughs*

For reals? Awesome! :) Still want me to beta it?

of course sweetie, you are the best beta ever. at least you can deal with my lateness and still talks to me even if it's been such a long while since we've talked, unlike the other betas I had in my other stories...

Ah, thank you. :) I know that RL can get in the way (and really really get in the way sometimes). Besides, even though we don't talk often, I enjoy it when we do.

yeah. well you are my friend first before being a beta and i also enjoy talking with you whenever we had the chance

ahhh, and i still had to wait for 3 weeks to get my hard drive back. it really, really, really sucks.

it's got bad sector. it's okay before the calamity but after a week of blackout when i opened it the first time the HD makes some whistling noise and it takes forever for windows to start.

good thing i've uploaded the fan fics i am working on in the online office so they're all safe.

OH yes, and it has been a while, hon. Is your home all right? And your family?

somewhat. at least we are still complete, and that's the most important thing. my youngest sister got stucked in her college for a day with no food, water, and electricity. we've already retrieved her when the water in our place lessened to shoulder length. and at least even if our house is near the floodway, our street is quite high so the most that we got is half-knee deep water. but we got stucked inside the house cause the water around us got higher than a man last, last saturday.

Is the house completely dry now or is it still waterlogged? I'm so sorry to hear that, though I am glad that you and your family are together and all right.

actually, the water, at most only reached our garage. i've never been thankful that my dad thought of elevating the house when it's being renovated once. so at least even if the other parts of our community is swamped, our house is dry. we've been able to get out of the hoeuse after several days. the only thing that i notice now is whenever there's a little rain, the water level in our floodway rose faster. kind of worrying but we are hoping for the best :)

yup. the most important thing, after all is that we are all alive and safe.
